Wellness Together– Free program created by the Government of Canada
– Deals with social problems that have gotten worse during the COVID-19 pandemic, including substance abuse, social isolation, financial insecurity, and racial inequality
– Allows people to sign up and be monitored while they follow a program that’s designed to support mental health
Abiliticbt– Program created by the governments of Ontario and Manitoba, free for all residents of Ontario and Manitoba
– Aimed at people aged 16+
– Internet-based cognitive behavioural therapy program that treats anxiety and depression that’s related to aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic, including: uncertainty, isolation, caring for family and community members, information overload, and increased stress
– Allows users to move through modules while monitored by a professional therapist
Canadian Mental Health Association – York and South Simcoe– The York and South Simcoe Mental Health Association has created a specific hotline that provides telephone-based counselling to community members who experience higher levels of stress and anxiety due to COVID-19
